Holdem Manager 2 Beta Build Includes New Hand History Viewer
New features to report!
Holdem Manager 2 is constantly updating its state-of-the-art software to bring its customers the best user experience possible. Over Christmas, Holdem Manager 2 released a new beta build adding functionality to the
poker tracking software.
Perhaps the most significant update is its new hand history viewer. The
Hand History Viewer is like none I have seen before, providing hands you just played in a very clear format. The cards are displayed very clearly, as is all of the action in the hand. Similar to its hand history replayer, you can see the odds of winning the hand pre-flop, on the flop, and on the turn. You can also copy or export the hand very easily with just a click of a button.
If you are a ring game player who likes to run it twice on poker sites where this is available, you will be very pleased to know that
Holdem Manager 2 now supports hand parsing for these hands. Many ring game grinders are taking advantage of this function when available to cut down on their variance when they're all-in on a hand.
The beta build also added sample size to the squeeze stats pop-ups. This is important since without a sufficient sample size, these stats might not be reliable enough to use for profiling your opponents when these situations come up during the play. Without a sufficient sample size, it is difficult to ascertain whether the stats in your
HUD will help you decide whether your opponent could be attempting a steal or is indeed strong.
Holdem Manager 2 will now be able to auto-detect your hand history folders for skins on iPoker and Microgaming. While this does not have an impact while playing, it does make your setup time for any skin on these networks much easier.
Holdem Manager prides itself on providing customers with a top-notch user experience. While part of that is releasing constant updates to its software, another part is providing excellent customer service via many methods. Besides the most common ways of contacting the support team via the forums and e-mail, you can also ask them questions to your heart's delight on the @holdemmanager Twitter feed. Its reps are also very active on popular poker sites such as PocketFives and TwoPlusTwo.
If you have not already tried Holdem Manager, now is a great time to do so. There is a 30-day free trial. Afterward, the software is reasonably priced at $59.99 for the Small-Stakes version, $99.99 for the Professional version, and $159.99 for the Pro Combo Hold'em and Omaha version. With everything this software does, it is no wonder that many poker players consider it to be a bargain.
